Poplar Business Park - Sculptural Ribbon Seating & Play

The Sculptural and Play Ribbon creates interesting social areas to inspire interaction with the space and to add social value into this regeneration scheme. Representing a 'ribbon of life' that flows through Poplar to Limehouse links the two areas of London as part of an overarching masterplan for the integration of the area. SLD worked closely with Evans Concrete providing working drawings for Evans to make the moulds for concrete casting in their Derbyshire workshop, then the art pieces were checked in the workshop then transported and assembled on site.
